Kim Love the Blog! No matter how chilly or wet it may be in Seattle, remember it's 90 degrees in Tampa. No rain for two months. Send some rain our way. Best to you on the other coast.
Hi Kim Lover the Blog! Seattle looks so green! No matter how much rain and chill you may have there, it is 90 degrees in Tampa. No rain in two months. Send some droplets our way. I hope the other coast is treating you well. Mary
My Grandma, who lives on a 98-acre farm in Ohio, asked some men from her church to drill some drainage holes in her 50-gallon "burn barrel". Upon inspecting their work, she found they had drilled several holes on the side of the barrel, but not one hole in the bottom, leaving an inch or so of standing water. Her explanation for their actions: "They must have been 'cityfolk'."
My other half and I recently moved from Tampa, Florida to Seattle's Pike Place Market neighborhood. I created this blog to share my urban observations and explorations, restaurant reviews, entertainment options and more. As a newly transplanted "cityfolk", I hope to provide useful city information, travel tips and itinerary ideas for tourists, newcomers and virtual visitors. Enjoy!
HaHAAAAA! Love this! Will you make me the same sign when I am new to the neighborhood?
ReplyDeleteOf course, Autumn. Except it will say, "Wanna booty dance?" ;-) (I've got my fingers crossed for you!!)
